The foreign Ministry of Belarus reported on held in the Minsk meeting of Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov and the special representative of the United States Ukraine, Kurt Volker.

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson stated that the Volcker meeting with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov will take place in the near future.
Volker was appointed to his current position on 7 July. Its task is to coordinate all state Department efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
