VTSIOM found out how many Russians live in an unregistered marriage

Moscow. March 5. INTERFAX.RU – Every tenth prefers a civil marriage, according to the poll, admitted on Thursday to “Interfax”.

The largest share of citizens preferring this form of family relationships have on youth and respondents aged up to 34 years (16% respectively).

The study showed, the least popular of unregistered relations among Russians aged 60 years and older – 5% of respondents in this age category.

According to the polls, are ready to 52% of Russians, and the maximum proportion of respondents accounted for citizens aged 35-44 years (69%). Among young people under the age of 24 years, was married to 17% of respondents, say sociologists.

According to the survey, 35% of Russians do not have a permanent relationship, youth aged up to 24 years of 62%.

The initiative Russian opinion poll was conducted on March 2, 2020 among 1,600 respondents aged 18 years.
