Volkswagen needs to introduce a crossover based on the VW Polo the following year.
Volkswagen in 2018 will release a new small crossover that will be called, apparently, the T-Cross. It will be created on the basis of the VW Polo. We bring to Your attention a few photos of this novelty.
VW T-Cross will be built on the smallest version of the MQB platform. On it, by the way, has already developed a hatchback Polo and SEAT Arona, so the sizes of this models are able to represent more or less accurately.
Crossover based on the Polo will take some design elements from the VW T-Roc, so it will receive an athletic appearance. He will also have increased ground clearance, to enable them to feel confident outside the city. In General, this new product looks to be noticeably different from the standard Polo models.
The wheelbase of this SUV will reach 2560 mm. It is 90 mm longer wheelbase than the current generation Polo, but 20 mm less than the Golf Mk6. In principle, the salon needs to be spacious enough for a small SUV. The head of VW Herbert Diez says motorists should expect in this model, several advanced technologies (what is enough to look at the novelties of this company, shown at the last motor shows).
What units will be included in the engine line – not reported. Apparently, the base will be three-cylinder 1.0 liter petrol turbo engine capacity of 109 HP
