Russian President Vladimir Putin said that NATO is a tool of US foreign policy.
“NATO is a tool of United States foreign policy. Until we see the development of a military infrastructure and approach of this infrastructure to our borders, we can not disturb. We talked about this many times publicly said,” quote it in the Russian media.
He also said that the lack of instruments of cooperation between Russia and NATO deprives the parties in the fight against terrorism.
The Russian President noted that the U.S. position on increasing military expenditures of NATO allies, given their promises not to threaten anyone raises questions.
The head of Russia today also noted that relations between the US and Russia – the worst since the Cold war.
