Vladimir Putin approved the introduction of a tourist tax in St. Petersburg. The head of state said at a meeting with acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
“Our city is increasingly visited by foreign tourists last year, 3.9 million [tourists], this year we expect 4 million [tourists]. Tourist tax in the amount of 100 rubles per day will be charged the hotels with foreign tourists every day.
