Studio Valve will return to the iconic map Dust2 in the multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This is the official page of the game on Twitter.
“The upcoming update the beta client CS:GO updated and improved version of the iconic maps Dust2,” reads the post. However, the exact date of release is not specified. Valve also did not disclose other details of the update and what changes will be subject to map.
Dust2 has been removed from the rotation competition regime in February of this year. She first appeared in a version of CS 1.1, and is considered one of the most popular cards in the game. Instead, the developers added an updated map Inferno.
Multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike was born in 1999 as a modification of Half-Life. Just in the main series published five versions of the game, the most popular of them — Counter-Strike 1.6. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was released in August 2012.
