Valve will protect the games from “bombing” of negative reviews

Valve staff will notify developers about the dissatisfaction of customers.

Valve announced that is going to protect products in the Steam from the massive attacks of the negative reviews, which do not relate to the quality of the project. In the official blog there was a statement about the system alert the staff. When a game gets noticed a lot of negative reviews over a short period, the data will be sent to the employee Steam.

If the study determines that such reviews are not directly related to your project, they will not be taken into account in the overall assessment. Users will be able to see these reviews, including special filters. As an example, Valve gave negative comments about the presence of DRM protection.
