In the beginning, the band’s frontman Svyatoslav Vakarchuk’s voice is gone.
The leader of the group “Okean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk lost his voice during a concert in Poltava. After the first song, “Mayzhe Vesna” Vakarchuk announced in a whisper that he could not continue to sing.
“This rarely happens. We all are human. Today is our first concert after a pause. In principle, all was well. But life is different. I’m a human being, like all of you,” – said Vakarchuk.
The leader of the “OE” explained that the concert in Poltava takes place after a long break. After what went on the stage left musicians who continued to play. About an hour later the artist came back and said that the voice partially restored.
“What you are waiting for us, deserves respect. So I’m here till the last, will go only if I will make the game”, – said Vakarchuk.
