Vakarchuk commented on the scandal around Kiev grafiti

Famous musician expressed his opinion.

Ukrainian musician and leader of the band “Okean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, commenting on the situation around a painted graffiti of the Revolution of dignity at the store, “Emporium” in Kiev and expressed hope that Ukrainian society can become more Mature.

Commenting on the situation around a painted graffiti of the Revolution of dignity, Ukrainian musician and leader of the band “Okean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk called the Ukrainian society is not Mature.

“The store is expensive for all of us erased the graffiti. For this store, smashed display cases. One lady said to another. When our society will become Mature?” the musician wrote.

“Way Mature companies – intelligence and persistence. Not symptomatic reflection, and the thoughtful and professional action. God willing, we will come to it”, – says Vakarchuk.

On the facade of the store, “Emporium” in Kiev during the revolution of dignity were graffiti with the images of Ukrainian writers Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko and Lesia Ukrainka. 2 Sep journalist Tatiana Vysotskaya said that they’ve been wiped.
