The meeting will take place on 7 December.
Next week (4-10 December) Secretary of state USA Rex Tillerson and the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov will hold a bilateral meeting in Vienna. She should go to the meeting of the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
On Friday in conversation with journalists said the representative of US state Department, discussing Kerry’s visit to Europe. It is quoted by TASS.
“He will meet with Lavrov on the sidelines of the OSCE meeting in Vienna on 7 December,” – said the representative of the state Department.
According to him, the date of the foreign Ministers of the USA and Russia could still change.
The state Department spokesman said that Tillerson and Lavrov “will continue the lively discussions on many international issues, including the DPRK, Ukraine and Syria.”
“Syria, of course, will be one of the most important topics, – said the representative of the state Department, as saying about the meeting with Tillerson Lavrov, and the Secretary of state talks with other European politicians.
“We are working closely with a large number of partners in this matter and are very sincere dialogue with Russia”.
Plans Tillerson next week – visits to Brussels, Vienna and Paris.
On 7 December he intends to be present at the Ministerial OSCE meeting in the Austrian capital.
