The strongest tennis player of Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in a difficult match, opened the scoring victories in the Open championship of the USA.
Svitolina is the sixth time launched in the main draw of the US Open – a native of Odessa received the fourth seed and entered the circle of players, claiming the status of the first racket of the world.
With the draw Svitolina no luck in the first round, the Ukrainian met with 42-th racket of the world the Katerina Sinyakova, which this year won three victories over players in the top 10, including the final match against Caroline Wozniacki at the tournament in Bastade.
First set Svitolina won in just 26 minutes – Elina implemented 3 of the 5 break points and his serve neutralized three chances of the opponent on a back break. Siniakova played a very “dirty”, allowing in the opening set 15 unforced errors.
During the second batch all went to a comfortable win Svitolina – fourth racket of the tournament was leading 3:1 but in the tenth game unable to submit for the match.
