US asks security Council to impose an embargo on North Korea

North Korea is likely to remain without oil.

Washington offers an embargo on oil supplies to North Korea, the freezing of assets, Kim Jong-UN, the restriction of the export of textiles, the prohibition of the recruitment of citizens of the DPRK to work abroad.

Washington proposes to impose an embargo on oil supplies to Pyongyang and to freeze the assets of North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN. Such suggestions are contained in the draft UN resolution proposed by the United States, said Wednesday, September 6, the senior U.S. diplomat in an interview to some news agencies. In addition, the United States intends to prevent the export of textiles from North Korea and prohibit the employment of DPRK citizens to work abroad.

On Monday, the US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley at a special meeting in the UN security Council said that Washington plans to circulate a new draft resolution in the course of this week, to discuss it and vote on September 11.

However, this date can move. Permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia expressed doubt that the Security Council will be able per week to coordinate and adopt the resolution. From other security Council members comments on the draft us resolution has not been received.

Earlier Wednesday, the President of the United States Donald trump and Chinese President XI Jinping agreed to take additional actions for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Sunday, September 3, Pyongyang announced the successful test of a hydrogen warhead, which can be used to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles.
