Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was transplanted to the Kex Engine 3.4 engine.
Nightdive Studios successfully launched a remaster of the original Turok and now is preparing to re-release the other part of the series — Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. And the developers don’t just put some make-up on the old game and added new content.
As stated by the official description in the Steam, the re-release of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil boasted wiser enemies. They attack in groups and try to escape in case of failure and hide behind cover during firefights. The authors also added six new worlds and introduced multiplayer, which works through Steam, GOG Galaxy, LAN and direct IP connection. The multiplayer combines the best levels and weapons from old versions for the PC and Nintendo 64 and even allows you to play online simultaneously with the “split-screen”.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was transplanted to the Kex Engine 3.4 engine. Now action fully supports 64-bit operating systems, flaunts new decals and effects, including screen-space reflections on the materials and textures. Nightdive Studio has also created a new interface, fine-tuned the speed and agility of the main character and some improved gameplay features.
The re-release of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be released on March 16.
