In Buenos Aires, Argentina, built an unusual private house, which is literally wedged between two buildings in the city, but it’s just buried in verdure, thanks to the abundance of vegetation on the outdoor roof terrace and a large indoor ramps. The house also boasts with capabilities of collecting solar energy and rainwater.

The area of the house which is called MeMo House is 215 square meters. On the ground floor has a kitchen, living and dining room, and upstairs are three bedrooms and as many bathrooms. Terrace-accessible from both at home and not going into it.

The interior looks fantastic, if you are a big fan of exposed concrete. If not, you probably have the interior is not really like it, although there’s a lot of greenery and wood is used.

The project developers have tried to make MeMo House truly energy efficient. The use of reinforced concrete provides low maintenance and provides excellent thermal mass, meaning it will not become hot in the sun. The rooms of the house receive equal amounts of sunlight during the day, reducing the need for electric lighting. In addition, rainwater is collected and stored in the reservoir for irrigation, and solar panels reduce electricity costs and provide hot water.
