Stunning forest House in Longbranch (Cabin at Longbranch), Washington, USA, designed by Studio Olson Kundig Architects has a long history.
Its construction was started in 1959 by Jim Olson of Olson Kundig Architects, who at the time was a first year student of architectural Institute. The construction of the house in the old spruce forest father has given Jim Olson $ 500.
Subsequently, a small structure in the form of a shed with an area of only 18.5 square meters was constantly rebuilt and expanded in 1981, 1997, 2003 and 2014.
