The UN Office for human rights stated that it had received information about the execution of at least 82 civilians in Aleppo.
Syrian government forces have killed at least 82 civilians, when entered in the last areas of Eastern Aleppo, which were controlled by the Syrian opposition. This was reported by press Secretary of the UN Office for human rights Rupert Colville.
Colville said that according to data they received that government forces come to houses and killing civilians “in place” in the territory that was previously controlled by the Syrian opposition.
According to him, 11 women and 13 children were among those executed in four blocks East of Aleppo.
Colville said that the UN Office for human rights has received information about the killings last night and added that it is unknown exactly when it happened.
According to Al Jazeera, locals say that government forces executed dozens of civilians for possible links with the Syrian opposition. However, this figure cannot be verified.
We will remind, the Syrian government army and allies of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad gained control over all the areas in Aleppo that left the Syrian military opposition as a result of active attacks, and are close to complete control of the city.
