Public joint stock company “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to change the system of border control in trains “intercity” to prevent passage of passengers with fake documents.
About this presentation of five year development strategy of the enterprise declared the acting President of the Board of PJSC Evgeny Kravtsov, transmit Ukrainian news.
He noted that the train “intercity”, crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border, there is a special procedure of customs control, which is carried out during the movement – it is an experimental model that was introduced, so that passengers have more comfort and faster overcame the border.
“We will need to study it and perhaps to correct, that there is no loophole for individual passengers. Also in this case we have, unfortunately, there are situations when individuals who have mismatched documents or fake, have no right of entry into Ukraine, trying to do it, and they are removed from the train after passing the border,” he said.
To the question whether it was to do with the former President of Georgia, the leader of the political party “movement novih forces,” Mikheil Saakashvili, he said that “Ukrzaliznytsya” had no right at all to put it on the Board.
Kravtsov also noted that at the moment PAO covered about 50 thousand affected by the train delay passengers.
