“Ukrzaliznytsia” will launch a new high-speed train to Odessa

The new trains will start from the Dnieper and the city.

“Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to start in Odessa high-speed train from the Dnieper and the city.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Wojciech Balczun on his page in Facebook.

“In the future, given the existing rolling stock and through the acquisition of additional interregional dual-system electric trains branch “USSC” (Ukrainian railway speed company – ed.) planned to connect the high-speed rail regional industrial center Dnepr to the black sea coast city of Odessa. This is especially true for the transportation of passengers during the summer vacations,” said Balcon.

He added that in addition, Railways are planning to connect a high-speed train Lviv to Odessa by lengthening an existing route Kyiv – Lviv to Odessa and Kiev – Odessa to Lviv triangle Kyiv – Lviv – Odessa – Kiev.
