The tender Committee of the branch “Darnitskiy car repair plant” recognized four of the tender on the total number of 1165 gondola is not valid.
About it reported in PAO “Ukrzaliznytsya”.
“The open auction on purchase of the gondolas on four of the eleven tenders through the electronic system for public procurement ProZorro filed documents executed improperly… the Inconsistency of the submitted documents, which allowed the participants 4 tenders, deals mainly with the design quality, the lack of the required number, and the like”, – stated in the message.
In this regard, the procurement procedure on these four lots will be announced again.
As noted in the message, the other 7 trades by the total number of 1,300 gondola cars are in the phase of prequalification – tender Committee determines whether to admit participants to the next stage of the auction.
At the same time in the company underline that now is the active phase of production of gondola cars in its own production facilities of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia. Three branch factory in 2017 built 432 gondola and 2 open hopper cars, by the end of June it is planned to produce more than 100 gondolas. Also purchased 48 flatcars and 2 open hopper cars.

In addition, signed an agreement on preliminary terms of financing with the European Bank for reconstruction and development on the acquisition of new freight cars. Total estimated cost of the project is $260 million $150 million – loan funds from the Bank, $110 million – at the expense of other sources of financing “Railways”. The agreement provides for the possibility of local currency financing.
