Ukrtelecom has started the prohibition of granting of services of access to prohibited sites.
Company Ukrtelecom has started work on implementation of requirements prohibiting the provision of access services to sanctioned Russian sites.
This was announced by Director of corporate communications Ukrtelecom Mikhail Shuranov.
“Ukrtelecom meets the requirements of the decree of the President of Ukraine №133/2017 banning access services in the list of web resources, which are detailed in the text of the decree. The process is quite complex and requires a certain amount of time, given the significant amount of resources. Work has already begun”, – he said.
However, he noted that work on implementation of requirements prohibiting the provision of access services to sanctioned Russian sites would be conducted in stages and, according to preliminary estimates of experts, will continue from several days to weeks.
