“Ukrpochta” has invented a substitute rural postal offices

"Укрпочта" придумала замену сельским почтовым отделениям Mobile offices provide the same services as conventional

In the villages fired postmen and close post offices. Instead, create mobile – on vehicles.

This pilot project tested in Chernihiv region, next year I want to spread on a few areas, and then to the whole country. Do this as to maintain full offices in small towns became unprofitable.

Mobile offices provide the same services as conventional: take utility bills, carrying a pension, Newspapers, letters and parcels. In every village our mobile teams come in once a week, some twice.

In “Ukrpochta” say: now we reach the villages where there were no facilities. Supposedly the product, for which people used to go, now able to buy just out of the car, with delivery to the yard.

But the majority of the population is unhappy with. Say the service has deteriorated. People are afraid that winter will remain without pay. Complain about the late delivery of the press.

Representatives of periodicals say that no press people will be in an information vacuum.

“In the villages there is no access to the Internet, often not always catches mobile communications. Would the substitution of some other information. In the border villages perfectly catch the Belarusian, Russian channels,” – says Sergey Ohrimenko, the Director of the Department for managing the circulation of PJSC “Segodnya Multimedia”.

Local authorities about the grievances of the residents know, and requires “Ukrposhta” until mid-September to end dismissals of postal workers, while not improve the quality of services. And not to close offices in larger villages. Now mobile units operate only where less than two thousand inhabitants.
