Demonstration of new military equipment will be held at the international exhibition on 10 October.
State concern “Ukroboronprom” at the international exhibition “Arms and Security-2017”, which will start on 10 October in Kiev will demonstrate the latest achievements of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, and will sign strategic agreements with international partners.
As the press service of the concern, at the exhibition “Arms and Security” will be the premiere demonstration of a new combat vehicle “Guardian”, which is the result of joint work of the Zhytomyr and Kyiv armored factory, along with SJSHC “Artem”, included in the GC “Ukroboronprom.”
“This latest development is designed for fire support of tanks on the battlefield, ensuring their protection and destroying both air and ground targets – from antitank missiles to the enemy armored vehicles and helicopters”, – stated in the message.
In addition, for the first time in Ukraine will be presented a new modification of the BTR-4МВ1.
“The specialists of “the Kharkov design Bureau named after Morozov”, which is part of “Ukroboronprom” significantly increased armor protection of the machine. BTR-4МВ1 got a new front and other structural changes aimed at improving the survivability and combat effectiveness of the machine”, – noted in the Department.
Also at the exhibition “Arms and Security-2017” will be the first time publicly demonstrated automatic carbine M4 – WAC-47, which is made under licence from the US government and is the result of an international project.
In total, the “Ukroboronprom” at the exhibition “Arms and Security” will present more than 150 models of weapons and military equipment, of which a few dozen – for the first time in Ukraine.
In addition, the exhibition will be signed key agreements with international partners to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the defence technology sector with the leading corporations of the countries-members of NATO.
Recall that the international specialized exhibition “Arms and Security-2017” will be held 10-13 October at the International Exhibition Center, which is located at Brovary Avenue, 15.
