Ukrainian armourers introduced a new high-speed armored car BRDM-NICK.
The presentation took place at the international exhibition “Arms and security-2017”, the press service of “Ukroboronprom”.
It is noted that the car weighs more than 8 tons. However, she is able to “sprint” to 100 km/h.
“BRDM-NICK is actually a new machine, in which a new level of protection, new engine, new suspension, new robotic combat module, new energetycznie solution new secure connection. Those are key elements that determine the combat efficiency of the machine and now they are all at a high level”, – said Alexander Shvets, the Director of GP “Nikolaev armored plant”, which created the armored car.
BRDM-NICK is a deep modernization of BRDM-2 that is in service with the Armed forces of Ukraine.
