State concern Ukroboronprom is preparing to test a 3D-radar 80К6Т for the Armed forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Facebook.
“This radar can detect objects in the air at a distance of 500 km, updating the data every 5 seconds, and target’s tracking with ultra-high precision”, – wrote Poroshenko.
The President added that the powerful capabilities of 80К6Т allow it to be used with all anti-aircraft missiles, which are armed, APU, and as an information link in the departments of the Air force.
