Ukrnafta Poroshenko has sent an open letter

Ukrnafta appealed to the President.

The largest Ukrainian oil extracting company Ukrnafta appealed to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with an appeal to prevent the destruction of the company because of the actions of state bodies that block the activity of the enterprise.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrnafta.

It is noted that the open letter to the President of Ukraine signed the members of the management Board and heads of structural units 18 Ukrnafta.

“It is our duty to warn that the actions of the state authorities to block the activities of the company will have catastrophic implications for Ukrnafta, will stop her work, from which the state is deprived of its oil production and billions of hryvnias of taxes. Loss reached 290 thousand tons of oil and condensate, 128 million m3 of oil gas, and 88 million m3 of natural gas per year. Thus, after stopping of the extracted volumes will be lost forever. Approximately 1500 employees in the Sumy region can lose a stable job in the coming months” – referred to in the letter.

As noted, Gosgeonedra illegally denying the company the continuation of special permits, which expire in 2017 than it actually inhibits the production of oil and gas.

According to the company, Ukrnafta could lose up to 20% of the annual volume of oil production this year and 50% next year. It is also noted that the fiscal service is trying to describe the tax pledge of the operating assets and initiates the stopping of expenditure operations Ukrnafta.

“Such actions not only will not solve the problem of multi-billion dollar tax debt, but will stop businesses and non-payment of current taxes. On the other hand, the proposal of the management Board, in particular, on the immediate financial health Ukrnafta has not received adequate consideration” – specify in the company.

Ukrnafta stresses that has a statutory right to renewal of licenses and the state is obliged to protect this right.

“We ask you to instruct the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to immediately begin the process of financial recovery Ukrnafta, which will allow you to save the company and return funds to the state budget. Time for procrastination is gone,” the letter reads.

As of March 31, a tax debt of Ukrnafta amounted to 13,461 billion. In addition, the Fiscal service is trying to describe the tax pledge the assets of the operating activities of Ukrnafta.
