Women’s team of Ukraine at the 3×3 basketball won a medal in Nantes (France) world Championships.
In the quarterfinals Ukrainka (Anna zarycka, Daria Enviable, Oksana Molowa and Cristina filewich) beat Switzerland (13:9), but at the semifinal stage not kept the winning score in the confrontation with the team of Hungary (13:15). The opponent scored the winning goal with 0.1 seconds before the end of the regular playing time.
In the fight for the bronze the national team of Ukraine with a score of 15:13, the team beat the Netherlands. This medal was for “blue-yellow” is the third in the world Championships 3×3 basketball. Last year Ukrainian women in Guangzhou (China) is stopped in a step from gold, losing the final to the Czech Republic.
The men’s team of Ukraine in the Stanislaus timofeyenko, Dmitry Lipovtsev, Maxim Zakurdaev and Alexander Kobets under the direction of Oleg Oskina in the 1/4 finals without a chance lost to France (12:20) and dropped out of the race for prizes.
