Ukrainians will simplify entry into another country

From 1 January 2018, the citizens of Ukraine will be easier to obtain visas to travel to Japan.

The Japanese authorities are going to simplify the procedure for registration of entry visas for Ukrainian citizens from 1 January 2018. This reports the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Kiev.

“On the occasion of the visit of the state Minister of foreign Affairs of Japan, Kazuyuki the stake in Kyiv on 9 November this year for talks with his counterparts in the government of Ukraine and to participate in events in the framework of the year of Japan in Ukraine were identified the measures to simplify visa requirements for short stays for citizens of Ukraine (holders of ordinary passports), which will enter into force on 1 January 2018”, – stated in the published message.

So, for the citizens of Ukraine will expand the range of applicants entitled to multiple-entry visas to Japan for a short stay for business purposes and cultural and scientific figures, as well as the validity of visas will be increased from 3 to 5 years maximum.

In addition to the existing single-entry visas will be introduced multiple-entry visas (with a validity of 3 years and maximum period of stay of 30 days) for a short stay for various purposes including tourism. In the case of self-payment the trip the applicant is not required to provide documents from the guarantor.

With the onset of these measures is expected to improve conditions for tourists, entrepreneurs, increasing the number of citizens, re-visit Japan, further strengthening of interpersonal contacts.

The consular fee for a visa to Japan, at the moment, as reported, is not charged. But we can’t say that she’s not going to cost you, because the documents will have to pay approximately $5 – 10.

Visa processing in Japan can take from 4 days to 30 days. The final decision on admission is taken not in the Embassy, and the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Japan.

A few days ago, Canada has simplified visa requirements for Ukrainians who have previously visited the country.

It was also reported that Ukraine and the UAE agreed on visa-free regime, which will be operational in December 2018.
