Ukrainians will increase the wages: who and how

The growth of wages in 2017 will only happen within the framework provided in the state budget, other promotions will not be.

The minimum wage in Ukraine will grow in accordance with the plan provided by the state budget for 2017, other increases in connection with the difficult economic situation in the country.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

“From January 1, 2017, we raised the minimum wage twice, to 3.2 thousand UAH. We raised teachers ‘ salaries by 50%, doctors 30% in 2017, the budget of the planned 10-percent raise of minimum social standards and this means that this will be done in 2017. Other actions in 2017 on wages to make a very, very difficult… In 2108 year we will do the following steps… Therefore not provided for another increase in the minimum wage in 2017”, – said the Prime Minister.
