Ukrainians will get visa-free entry to another country

Ukrainians will be able to visit Albania without a visa.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the agreement with the government of Albania on mutual abolition of visa requirements.

The decision was taken at a government meeting on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman read out the resolution among the accepted by the Cabinet without discussion.

As previously reported, the EU leadership will discuss the issue of visa-free regime for Ukraine on 28 February.

We will remind, in December the EU approved the updated mechanism to suspend visa-free regimes. Consultations between the three EU institutions needed to finally approve the liberalization of the visa regime for Ukraine. Earlier it was said that a full-fledged visa-free regime with EU Ukraine could receive in may-June 2017.
