The national Bank of Ukraine from July 3, 2017 introduces the results of Ukrainians of foreign exchange licenses in electronic form for the transfer of foreign currency abroad. About it reports a press-service of the NBU.
“Physical persons (except for entrepreneurs) will be able to obtain individual electronic license (e-license) for the transfer of foreign currency abroad for the implementation of certain foreign exchange operations through authorized banks”, – stated in the message.
The base e-license natural person in one calendar year to transfer foreign currency abroad for the total amount up to 50,000 USD (equivalent).
To use the e-license within the established limit individuals will be able to implement the three types of foreign exchange transactions: for investment abroad; investment of funds for their own accounts outside Ukraine, with the aim of fulfilling obligations to non-residents under contracts of life insurance.
To provide e-license and collection of information about using the set limit, the national Bank introduces automated information system “the Register of individual licenses on implementation of the individuals foreign exchange operations” (AIS).
To obtain an e-license, the individual should contact any authorized Bank in which it has an outdoor, private account, and submit certain documents (in paper or electronic form).
In turn, the authorized Bank, provided that the applicant sends information to the National Bank a request in the electronic form by means of AIS to issue to that person an e-license. On the basis of such request of the national Bank automatically issues to the individual e-license by entering the account in AIS, the Bank informs the client.
