This procedure applies to foreign citizens and during the confederations Cup in 2017.
Russia imposed a mandatory rule for the registration of foreigners arriving to the territory of the cities of Kazan, Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Sochi in the period from 1 June to 12 July this year, during the confederations Cup in 2017.
This procedure must be performed within days from the moment of arrival, according to the Department of consular service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
It is alleged that the rule will be in effect during the carrying out in Russia of world football championship in 2018.
“Thus, citizens of Ukraine who are planning to travel to the Russian Federation in the period of 2017 and from 25 may to 25 July 2018 – in the city of Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-don, Samara, Saint Petersburg, Saransk, Sochi, must register during the day at the place of arrival in the respective territorial bodies of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation”, – underlined in the message.
