According to forecaster of Natasha Didenko, the cause of the change in the weather was the weather front looming over the Western Ukraine.

In addition, Didenko said that in the day cold front will move deeper into Ukraine, and therefore the rains will be in most areas, and low rear temperature front will spread to North, Central and some southern areas. Thus, throughout the day August 22, cold to +17 +23.
“The heat still remain in Sumy, Kharkiv, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, most of the districts of Dnepropetrovsk region. On 23 August the heat and leave these areas,” — said the forecaster.

Didenko also said that on 24 August in the North-East of Ukraine, close to Smolensk, will be the center of the cyclone, which will trigger rains in Sumy, Kharkiv and part of the Chernihiv oblast. Other regions have to wait for Sunny weather. However, Kiev this plan remains in question.
Another warming will begin across Ukraine since August 25.
In turn, Ukrgidromettsentr predicts that on 22 and 23 August the majority of regions of Ukraine will cover thunderstorms and rain, and August 24 will be fine.
