Advent 2017: a calendar of food every day

In the period of advent should refrain from a number of products: meat, milk, eggs, cheese, butter, and some days off to fish.

What you can have from 28 November to 19 December 2017:

Monday: you can eat hot food of plant origin, but without oil.
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: vegetable oil is allowed in small amounts, plus fish.
Wednesday and Friday: shoedini.
4 December 2017 (Monday) is the feast of the presentation of the blessed virgin. And on this day allowed to eat a little red wine.

What you can eat from 20 December 2017 to 1 January 2018:

Monday: food of plant origin, but no oil
Tuesday and Thursday: vegetable food with a vegetable oil.
Wednesday and Friday: shoedini
Saturday: food of plant origin with butter, fish.
1 January after the New Year, allowed to drink a little red wine.

What you can have from 2 to 5 January 2018 (the post increases, it is impossible to eat even the fish):

Monday and Wednesday: shoedini
Tuesday and Thursday: food of plant origin, but without oil.
6 January – Christmas eve – the day you need to follow a particularly strict fast. After the evening allowed to eat Christmas pudding.

Advent 2017: what you can eat

Advent is less strict than the Great and the assumption posts. In the diet post requires to abandon the products of animal origin: meat, eggs, milk and dairy products.

Despite the ban, your diet during advent can be quite rich and varied and include the following products: cereal, bread, crackers, vegetables, mushrooms, herbs, berries, fruits, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, honey, and some days fish, seafood, oil and even wine.

During advent can be consumed raw, boiled, steamed, roasted, savoury food. It can be a variety of salads, pickles and canning, soups, stews, casseroles, dumplings, pies and pastries, juices, fruit drinks, jelly, tea.
