Bulgaria is ready to participate in two large-scale transport projects, one of which is the construction of the Expressway Ukraine-Greece.
This was stated by Minister of transport of Bulgaria Hristo Alexiev during the meeting of the European conference on transport investments in Sofia.
High-speed track will connect Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine. If all parties agree and will find sources of funding, the project may be implemented in the next five years, until 2022.
Yet, according to Bulgarian officials, all countries that can participate in the project, Express their interest in its implementation.
The EU also discussed the construction of the motorway Via Carpathia, which might be branches in Ukraine.
