Ukrainian men’s team in volleyball at the first attempt managed to win the first title in their history.
In the group stage the team of the Ugis Krastins exchanged victories with Denmark, and twice defeated Israel and Hungary. On the way to the playoffs, “blue-yellow” has won 15 games with seven lost.
In the semi-finals Ukraine is in a difficult pyatisetovy duel they beat the Swedes (23:25, 25:19, 25:16, 20:25, 18:16).
