Ukrainian Petcube project won first place at a major conference dedicated to wearable gadgets, “smart” devices and the subject of IoT overall, Wearable Tech Show.
In London Ukrainians have passed the Nest and Amazon Alexa.
According to the newspaper, two Ukrainian teams were awarded during the Wearable Tech Show.
So, the Ukrainian company Petcube became the first in the category of “Smart home”. Its gadget, Petcube, a robot that allows you to entertain the rest home animals and to follow them, took first place, beating out such formidable competitors as the Nest thermostat with voice assistant Amazon Alexa.
For Petcube is not the first good news in a week. Famous actress Emma Watson noted Petcube among their favorite gadgets, saying that the device “changes the life”.
At the same time, in another category of “digital health,” said another Ukrainian project — Сardiomo, which develops smart-clip for monitoring metrics for the health of older people.
