In the case of adoption of the relevant law, officials for visits to Russia may face criminal liability.
The security service of Ukraine has proposed to start public discussion of the draft law restricting travel to Russia to Ukrainian officials.
With the corresponding initiative was made by the head of the Department Vasyl Hrytsak.
“The lawyers of SB of Ukraine has prepared a bill to limit visits to the Russian Federation, politicians, officials, representatives of local authorities and public figures”, – told in SBU.
As noted, the draft law, in particular, provides for criminal liability for officials for the visit of the Russian Federation with the purpose of causing harm to the national interests of Ukraine.
“Given the importance of the bill for the Ukrainian society, the SBU is open to professional suggestions for improvement, and to document one of the subjects of legislative initiative shall render a bill for public discussion”, – said in the secret service.
