MP Dmitry Golubov proposes to allow abortion solely on the grounds of medical indications or if the woman became pregnant as a result of rape. This is stated on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The draft law on amendments to some legislative acts regarding restrictions on the operations of abortion was registered in the Parliament on March 27. The text of the document appeared on the website of the Verkhovna Rada until the next day.
Golubov believes that the need to exclude the rule which exists in the Civil code of our state, that an abortion before 12 weeks can be carried out at the request of the pregnant woman. –
