Another plane has transferred to the national guard of Kazakhstan.
The armed forces of Ukraine will soon receive the restored aircraft An-26, informs the press service of the concern Ukroboroneksport.
“State enterprise Plant 410 civil aviation, part of the Ukroboronprom state concern, has completed the overhaul of the military transport aircraft An-26 for the APU,” – said in the message.
It is noted that the restored aircraft has passed all tests and is ready for handover.
“During the overhaul was carried out a full complex of works on restoration of all systems of the aircraft, installed new electronic equipment, including was replaced by a system of communication, navigation, instrumentation and other onboard equipment,” – said in the message.
It is argued that due to this specified An-26 can fly on international routes and to participate in joint action with NATO forces. Before, a similar work has been carried out with other An-26, one of which was handed over to the military pilots this summer.
“Only in 2017, the state enterprise Plant 410 of civil aviation is working on the restoration of the four planes, and have done routine maintenance and the recovery phase on two planes that will strengthen parks aviation Air forces of Ukraine and the National guard of Ukraine”, – added in Ukroboronprom.
It is also noted that the state enterprise Plant 410 of civil aviation had a major overhaul of another An-26 for the national guard of Kazakhstan and November 1 handed over the aircraft to the customer.
