The mayor of Slavyansk of Donetsk region Vadym Lyakh ironically responded to the offer of the regional authorities to submit to the national dress chosen European country during the celebration of Europe Day on 9 May.
“Always sympathetic to people with a good sense of humor. See that such work in the regional Department of culture. After all, according to them, it should look like the mayor of the city of Slavyansk on may 9 in celebration of the Day of Europe,” wrote the Telegraph in your Facebook, publishing the relevant collage.
In the photo the mayor proved himself a Scotsman in traditional people clothing – the kilt.
