Promising Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk step away from winning the Junior tournament of series Grand slam.
On their first Junior Slam 14-year-old from Kiev, received the 11th seed, consistently beat Mahak railway (6:3, 6:3), Nahco Sato (6:1, 2:6, 6:2), then in the 1/8 finals was the sixth racket of the tournament Jody Barrage (6:7, 6:1, 6:4), and in the quarterfinals over 52 minutes defeated Liang Anisou (6:3, 6:1).
For the finals, he competed with 16th seeded Elena Rybakina. In the first set, the Ukrainian made two breaks, and on his serve did not allow the opponent never to get close to the taking of game.

Martha Kostiuk could become the third Ukrainian tennis players, who won the Junior tournament of Grand slam. Previously, this was achieved Kateryna Bondarenko (Wimbledon 2004) and Elina Svitolina (Roland Garros-2010).
