Ukrainian illegal immigrant crossed the Danube for the job in Romania

The detainee was handed over to the Ukrainian authorities.

In Romania, the border guards detained the citizen of Ukraine who tried to illegally enter the country to find work.

According to the Ministry, on the night of September 14, near the village Catalkoy guards noticed the man who was walking along the river Bank.

When it stopped, it turned out that he had no identity documents. Later we found out that the detainee, a 29-year-old citizen of Ukraine.

The man said that crossed the Danube with a bag and wanted to find in Romania work.

Romanian border guards had prepared a report on illegal border crossing and handed the man to Ukrainian authorities to continue the investigation.
