“Victory! In these moments ended with a meeting of the National Commission on the red book of Ukraine. Despite pressure from the hunting lobby, by a majority of votes, a decision was made about the need to introduce moose to the Red book. The voting took place in a secret format (24 votes for, 6 against, 1 abstained)”, – said Todoruk.

According to the coordinator of the movement for animal rights, the Minister is willing to take this step.

“Now the Ministry of environment may eventually make the animal in the Red book and protect from destruction. As far as we know, the Minister is willing to take this step,” said Todoruk.
