Ukrainian film won the prestigious international award

“Ukrainian cinema to be!” – say the winners of the festival.

The movie “boundary”, which was created by Ukrainian-Slovak team with the support of the state, won a prize at the 52nd film festival in Karlovy vary for best Director.

This was announced on the official movie page in Facebook.

“Great news! At the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival our co-production film “border” received the prize for best Director! Congratulations Peter Bebeka and the international creative team on this victory! No wonder influential global publications compare our band with the best works of guy Ritchie and “the Godfather”. Our Director was recognized as the best in Europe! Proud of our shared victory, and once again I repeat: “Ukrainian film to be!” – said the filmmakers.

The film tells the story of smuggling on the border of Ukraine and Slovakia and is based on real facts. The plot events of 2007, when Slovakia joins the Schengen area, which greatly complicates the lives of smugglers, because the border adds. The authors call their tape crime story with elements of Thriller and black humor.
