“The Ukrainian Oscar Committee chose the film as a contender from Ukraine – “black Level”, dir. Valentyn vasyanovych”, – stated in the message of the Oscar Committee on his page in Facebook.
Premiere of the film took place this summer at the 8 th Odessa international film festival.
In the description of the film is that its main character is a wedding photographer Costa, who has spent his life taking pictures of someone else’s happiness and on the verge of the 50th anniversary of understands that all that he loved is gone forever.
