Two of the project Ukrainian design Studio Sergey Makhno Architects won the prestigious international design competition International Property Awards 2017-2018.
Won projects such as “the Apartment wabi-Sabi” and “the Office Architects Sergey Makhno”. How to tell the source, founder and Director of Studio Sergey Makhno has created these projects for his family, combining Japanese aesthetics and Ukrainian traditions.
In the photos you can see two-storey apartment with a terrace, where the authenticity coupled with modern technology. The walls are decorated with clay in the technique, which was used in houses, huts, and a ceiling decorated with rough wooden beams.
Office designers used such materials as concrete, stone, glass, copper, brass, bronze, lighting, temperature and sound in the office are regulated through a system of “smart house”.
As regards international competition, it has existed for 26 years, and the best work evaluated by a group of 70 experts in the field of design and architecture. The main criteria are design, quality, innovation, originality.
