Ukrainian boxer in Africa will compete for the IBO title

Heavy weight Dmitry Kucher next year will go to South Africa for the IBO title.

As informs a portal “Boxingscene”, the return of the Coachman in the ring will take place on 3 March in Johannesburg, and his opponent will be the new champion IBO heavyweight Kevin Lerena, who won the title in September after winning a split decision over Congolese Iori Kalingas.

“I saw his fight against Kalenga and know that he is very strong guy. Not a problem for me to fight in South Africa. This is a very good chance to win the title,” said the Coachman his title chance.

A driver in November last year, missed the chance to break into the elite heavy division, losing by unanimous decision to former contender Alexander Usik Marco Huck. Since then, the native of Vinnitsa in the ring did not appear.
