Region-the Bank changed its name to Sky Bank.
Investor Arif Babayev bought a Region-Bank, and the institution itself changed its name to Sky Bank. This was reported by the Bank press service.
“Kazakhstan investor bought a universal Region-Bank with 26 years of experience in the Ukrainian market, renaming it to Sky Bank and focusing in the development of the IT-solutions” – skzano in the message.
“We are making significant investments in IT systems are very cautious about lending and have a significant cushion of liquid assets, is the key to our reliability,” said Babayev.
Arif Babayev, a Kazakhstan businessman, has many years of experience in the banking sector, from 2013 to 2016 was the managing Director of one of the largest in Kazakhstan Kazkommertsbank.
Region-Bank was founded in 1991. According to the national Bank of Ukraine, on may 15, 2017, its largest shareholder was Chairman of the Supervisory Board Babayev (99,0935%).
According to the NBU, on April 1, 2017 to total assets, the Bank was ranked 77-th place (325,253 million UAH) among the 90 operating in the country banks.
