In the Ukrainian house in Davos you can see the new Ukrainian art.
The works of Ukrainian artists Zhanna Kadyrova, Lesia Khomenko and Dmitry Starusev presented in the Ukrainian house in Davos in the days of the 49th Annual meeting of the world economic forum (WEF).
For the second year in a row the Ukrainian contemporary art is demonstrated on the occasion of the WEF to present to world leaders of the new Ukraine through the works of the young generation of Ukrainian artists, the subject of interest which are socio-political realities of Ukraine.
The works of Zhanna Kadyrova explores models of shared life where we are looking for a private space in the urban environment.
Creative work of Lesya Khomenko pays attention to daily life, however, the material used – satin finish-glass – highlights the difficulties that accompany the need to share the experience with others.
The works of Dmitry Starusev is a large-scale photoproto, which are both the product of the use of the technology to the limit analog manual photography, and abstract composition that shows Ukraine as a crossroads and a boundary between different worlds and realities.
