The exercises sea breeze held in Ukraine on a regular basis.
In 2017 the Ukrainian-American military exercise sea breeze will be the new method and under the leadership of the headquarters, designed according to NATO standards.
As have told in a press-service Military-naval forces of VSU, the method of their carrying out will be held in the mode “free play” (free play)”.
“During the sea breeze – 2017 multinational headquarters Maritime command will carry out the planning and control forces at the introductory leadership training, making decisions and providing guidance not only tactical ship groups, but also coastal and aviation components. This would allow for testing the abilities of promising staff of naval command to control the forces in operations to NATO standards”, – added in Department.
It is noted that the exercise will be attended by representatives of Ukraine, USA, UK, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Turkey, France and Sweden.
The exercises to be held in July 2017 in the Odessa and Mykolaiv oblasts and in the North-Western part of the Black sea, will be preceded by a course training of Ukrainian sailors in different directions with attraction of foreign experts.
In addition, be conducted in the planning phase of operations without tying up the main force, which in turn will allow to increase capacity of staff of the naval commanders to conduct active phase of the international maneuvers.
